Proof You Can Create The Life You Want
I am so glad you’re here. Many years ago, Albert Einstein said that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That is so true and so much of what we learn in mastering our mindset and being able to create the life that we want. I have an experiment for you. Whether you’re a believer or a skeptic, I want you to do it. Skeptics are always more fun because they don’t believe something will work and then when it does, they are usually the best at telling other people about it.
Introduction Of Neville Goddard’s Ladder Experiment
There was a speaker and author by the name of Neville Goddard, who taught how we can use our mindset and our unconscious mind to create the life that we want. He was most famous for his ladder experiment and it is awesome. I want you to try it out. I’ve done this and it happened for me as well but it’s more powerful when you experience it yourself versus just trusting someone else that it will happen.
Step-by-Step Instructions For The Ladder Visualization
The first part is you want to do visualization for three days. As you’re getting ready for bed, I want you to close your eyes and vividly imagine yourself climbing a ladder. Not just imagine, but engage your senses. Feel the sensation of holding the ladder in your hands. Feel what it feels like to be on the wrongs with your hands and your feet. I want you to repeat that action. You’re going to climb the ladder from the bottom to the top and then climb back down. Continue it as you fall asleep. Remember, you’re only doing it for three days, but it is important that you do that whole three step process for the three days.
We can use our mindset and our unconscious mind to create the life we want. Share on XThe next part is you’re going to place like Post-it notes or on a little piece of paper a contradictory thought. Take two or three or you can do more if you want and write, “I will not climb the ladder.” Now, you’re going to put these invisible places, like your bathroom mirror or your car dashboard or in your kitchen or wherever you’re going to be certain to see it. You’re going to just let go of the desire. After you place the note, don’t try and find a ladder. Don’t think about a ladder. Forget about it and wait for it to manifest.
Proof Through Real-Life Manifestations
What’s going to happen is within a week or so, that ladder is going to unexpectedly appear in your life in some way confirming that you have climbed that imaginary ladder. It has brought a ladder into your experience for you to climb again. Now, I’ll give you the example of when I did it and it was a silly thing. I have a ladder but I had no reason to climb a ladder until the fire alarm in my house, the smoke alarm, and the battery went out. You might say, “That happens all the time. That’s just a coincidence.”
Except, I had just had them changed like two months before and it started doing that annoying beep which drives me insane. I had to go get my ladder out of the garage and climb the ladder and fix that. You may say, “That’s not that weird of a thing,” but I’ve known other folks who’ve done this experiment. Maybe they lived in an apartment but they ended up climbing a ladder at work. It’s so crazy how this happens. It does tend to take about a week and you have to forget about it.
It is powerful to know that the only thing you need to do to have the life you've always wanted is to believe it and focus on it. Share on XIt’s just one way that you can prove to yourself that you get those things you visualize. You get those things that you’re focused on. Even if you have some contradictory thoughts like those notes that you put out there. Come on, give this a try. You’ll have so much fun with it. If you don’t want to do a ladder, I haven’t tried it with something else but I know it would also work if you focused on something that you could encounter in the day-to-day. It’s not so much that you’d say, “A unicorn.” Something that you might encounter.
Expanding Beyond The Ladder: Applying Visualization To Anything
Maybe you might have to take a taxi when you don’t normally take a taxi. I find the ladder to be fun because most of us don’t count our ladders in our day-to-day life. Now, if you’re someone who works in construction or painting or something where you do use a ladder. Think of something that you don’t always encounter but that you could encounter but it wouldn’t be likely and do this exercise. Let me know how it goes for you because once you realize that this works, that is what you visualize and feel into. You can create in your own life you can use this for anything and everything that you want. How powerful is it to know that the only thing you need to do to have the life that you’ve always wanted is to believe it and focus on it? For me, it was a game changer. Here’s to your success.
