The Power of Mindset: Wisdom From A 10 Year Old
I am so glad you’re here. I cannot wait to tell you that a ten year old made my absolute day. A couple of days ago, I was on the phone with the ten year old’s mom and she said, “I have got to tell you this story because my daughter quoted you,” and that was adorable. I had to hear it. She read my book Magic Blue Rocks, which her mom had read as well. In this scenario that she was telling me about, they went on a trip and she’d forgotten her Kindle. She’s a big reader and she has a Kindle she travels with everywhere.
Everything that you want in life is 100% possible for you. Share on XAt first, when she realized she didn’t have it, she was disappointed for a second and then she said, “Do you know what, Mom? April says things are always working out for us. I read it in Magic Blue Rocks and I know that this is working out for me. I just don’t know how yet. I’ll figure it out, and I’ll let you know.” It turns out, within less than 30 minutes, she realized that she could put a Kindle app on one of their mobile devices and just use her Kindle that way. Even though she didn’t have the actual device.
Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities: Applying Magic Blue Rocks Principles
She said, “Mom, this is amazing. See, if this hadn’t happened to me, if I hadn’t forgotten my Kindle on this trip, then I wouldn’t know about this other thing that helps me because maybe sometimes when I travel again, I don’t want to have it.” Her mom shared with me that this is something that would have ruined a good part of her trip in the past. She took that principle in Magic Blue Rocks and applied it right away. It made her day better, her trip better and she said, “I see her applying the little lessons that you shared in the book all over the place. She’s integrated with this information. It made such an impact on her.”
Mastering Your Mindset: Why Believing In Yourself Is Unstoppable
I have to be candid. I almost started crying because this is amazing. It’s amazing because I wrote that book to share the lessons I learned hoping it would help people. It is crazy to hear it helping a kid. I got to tell you. The idea that she’s already mastering these principles that it took me much longer warms my heart. Someone who has a mindset of, “I’m going to learn something from this. I’m going to get something from this. I’m going to find a solution.” It’s going to be free and stoppable. I love that for her.
