Heartbreak & Healing – Episode 265 of Winning Mindset Mastery with April Shprintz
What do you lean on when life hits you with something you never saw coming?
You can’t prepare for every heartbreaking moment, but the work you do on your mindset before those moments can make a difference in how you navigate them.
In this episode, April Shprintz shares how she’s leaning on years of mindset work after unexpectedly losing her best friend. Through her experience and the image of a forest growing again after a fire, she reminds us why working on our mindset during the good days matters when the devastating ones arrive.
Because you never know when you’ll need to lean on the strength you’ve been building.

Leaning On Your Mindset After Loss
Thank you for joining me on Winning Mindset Mastery. I am so glad you’re here.
First, a trigger warning. If you have lost anyone recently or suffered from any type of loss that might really impact you, that’s what I’m going to be talking about today.
Today is going to be a little different of an episode than you’ve ever heard from me, but it is very important that I share it with you, both authentically to be real, and also because I know that there is someone out here that this episode is really going to help.
When Your Entire World Shatters Into Chaotic Little Pieces
Just a few days ago, I lost unexpectedly my very best friend in the world, whole universe. And it came out of nowhere. And I didn’t know what to do.
And all at once, my entire world was shattered into chaotic little pieces.
And I have never in my entire life been so grateful for all the work I’ve done on mindset because I was able to lean back on that.
And even as I was in the midst of chaos and shock and just absolutely breaking down, keep reminding myself, I have no idea how this is working out for me. But I trust that it is.
I have no idea how this is working out for me. But I trust that it is. Share on XWhether you believe in God or the universe, you know that things are going to get better, that things will work out for you. Not in the end, they’ll just work out for you, period.
And it doesn’t always feel like it.
Why Working on Your Mindset Matters Most on the Hardest Days
But I want you to think about when an entire forest burns down and everything is ashes and it looks terrible.
Not long after that, because of the chemical process that happens, the soil is fertilized and new things grow.
Working on your mindset in the good days and the easy days and the kind of tough days is what’s going to prepare you for any of those devastating days and help you get through it.

It is my deepest honor to share these things with you because what I hope to do with my life is to impact you. Just a fraction of how much my dear friend impacted and continues to impact me because he’s still here in some way, shape, or form.
And I am more committed than ever to helping as many people as possible. Understand how to use your mindset for you, understand how to use it to get the life you want.
And when you’re ready for the next step, understand how to utilize those concepts in mindset to start manifesting the life you have already deserved.
If manifesting is too woo-woo for you, you stay in episodes up to about 200 and you get the science down because that’ll give you a beautiful life.
And if you want to come on the woo-woo journey with me and you understand spirituality and how we are all part of the same whole and how you can get everything to work on your behalf simply by getting in alignment, you stay on this journey with me because I’m going to give you more and more of what you need to become the person you’ve always wanted to be, the person you’ve always been, and to have the life you have always, always deserved.
I have such great love for you, and I am rooting for you. Share on XI have such great love for you, and I am rooting for you.
