THIS Is The One Thing You’re Not Doing That Will Get You EVERYTHING You Want

I’m going to warn you, this is a soapbox episode, but in the best way. The gift that I want to give you is helping you understand how mindset plays into getting you anything and everything you have ever wanted. First, let’s talk about the things that we want. What do we want? Whether we’re thinking about Christmas, the gifts that we want, whether we’re thinking a little forward, which is New Year’s resolutions, and why do we have those and what do we hope to get?

Whether it’s money or health or relationships, our career to be at a different level, our business to be doing so much more revenue, or maybe it’s to be well known in your industry for whatever it is that you do, or an amazing athlete, or just excel at college, whatever it is, have you ever thought about why you want it?

Once you think about why you want it, you’ll say something. Okay, but why do you want that? You’ll say something else. I want you to ask yourself, “Why do I want that?” I want you to keep asking yourself that question over and over until you get to an answer that sounds like, “That will feel really good. That will make me happy. That will be fun. That will be exciting.”

At the end of the day, no matter what it is that you want in life, you actually want that feeling. You want to feel good. You want to be happy. You want to be at peace. No matter what it is, at the most basic level, if you really investigate it, it’s because of how it will make you feel. Even if your greatest wish in life is to help other people, which that’s one of my biggest wishes in life, but ultimately, it makes me feel good to help other people.

 

When you have this piece of knowledge, that is really powerful because that helps you understand the value of mindset. When you’re in control of your mindset, when you can reframe something when it’s bothering you, when you can find a way to make yourself feel good regardless of what’s going on around you almost all the time, you are so close to every goal you ever wanted in the sense that you ultimately want to feel good.

Mindset is a way to shortcut yourself to feel good. When you shortcut yourself to feeling good, your momentum towards all those other things, whether it’s the money, the health, the relationship, career, college, being well known, whatever it is, is so much faster and it’s more fun. Let’s take this another step. “That’s great. I’ll feel good. I don’t know if that helps me get what I want.”

I don’t often get woo with you, but I’m going to get woo with you right now. If you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction, if you’ve heard of manifesting the things that you want, mindset is an incredible practice for that. If we can think of mindset as JV and varsity as Law of Attraction and being able to manifest the money, the life, the relationship, the health, the everything that you want, mindset gets you to the point where you can train the way that you think. When you can train the way that you see things that happen to you, when you can on purpose feel the way that you want to feel, you can now start creating the life that you want.

 

If you’ve ever seen the movie The Secret, or you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction, or you’ve heard of manifesting money or a life you want, Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, and thought, “How? How do I do that?” here’s the secret. I have been taking you down the first steps of being able to do that with mindset. Even if you don’t believe in those things and you don’t ever want to do that, no problem. You can just walk around happy all the time getting the things you want and not think about why.

If you want to go to that next level and create a life that is everything you’ve ever dreamed of, and by doing that, also be able to help others and make an impact and succeed in ways you’ve never imagined, stay on this path. These are the steps, habits and things that are going to prep you to be able to manifest all the things that you want in life.

When you get your mind in the right place, then you’re able to take inspired great action that isn’t grinding, that isn’t pushing up against things that is working for you, and all of a sudden it seems like everything you do goes that much further. Life starts to become like pedaling a bicycle downhill. Mindset is that first step. It will get you all of the things that you want.
